Classes & curriculum

Twelve classes across four tracks. Each one is a self-contained production brief — you can take a single class or follow a track end to end.

Curriculum map

Tracks are ordered, but not gated. Students who already work in a studio commonly skip the foundation class and start at the second module of their track.

Track A — Character

Construction and silhouette → turnaround sheets → expression and acting range → prop and costume design → series bible assembly.

Track B — Motion

Timing and spacing → weight and impact → effects animation → sequence boarding → retake handling under a deadline.

Track C — Colour & environment

Light keys and cel separation → palette continuity across cuts → perspective for background layouts → matching a background to a character sheet.

Track D — Rigging & delivery

Artwork separation for deformers → parameter design → physics and idle motion → export specs for streaming and engine use.

Class FAQ

Do I need a drawing tablet?

For every class except Storyboard Rhythm, yes. Any pressure-sensitive tablet works; the instructors demonstrate on mid-range hardware deliberately.

What software is used?

Classes are software-agnostic where possible. Rigging classes require Live2D Cubism; effects and key animation demos are recorded in Clip Studio Paint EX with exposure sheets exported.

How long do I have to finish?

Self-paced classes have no deadline. Live critique seats run to a fixed six-week schedule because the paint-over sessions are scheduled in advance.

Is there a certificate?

Completing every retake list in a track earns a track completion letter naming the instructors who signed off. We do not issue accredited degrees and we do not claim to.
